Welcome! I'm Haylee! Thank you for choosing us and prioritizing YOU. I am a current intern here at Nova Mental Telehealth, where I am obtaining my MSW through the University of Denver's online program. My focus is clinical mental health and trauma. I believe in exploring your culture and embracing all the things that make you, YOU are special and should be celebrated.
I am an avid outdoorsperson. I love to go on walks, hikes, and bike rides.

Why I'm a Social Worker
I have always had a passion and desire to help people and after my time in the military, I started my journey to find a career field to do just that. Once I found Social Work, I knew this was exactly what I had been searching for. I was struck by the injustices within the major systems of our society, as well as injustices individuals and families face daily. As an intern and future LCSW, I am committed to you as an individual and your mental health journey to process the injustices. I love being a therapist because, through a clinician-client relationship, I can see clients for who they are. The ability to see clients as an individual, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality, and gender is truly a blessing. Watching clients progress and overcome challenges truly fulfills my passion and inspires me to do more.
